This is a 2006 Ford Expedition that is assigned to the Chief of the Department.  It carries some fire equipment, command equipment and medical gear including an AED.

 

This vehicle enables the Chief to respond 24/7 from home to emergency scenes and administrative functions.

 

401 was purchased utilizing the State of Indiana’s “quantity purchase agreement”, resulting in saving at least $4000 on the vehicle.
