Harris Township Fire Department

The residents of Harris Township (most of the Granger area) receive Fire, Rescue and Emergency Medical services from the Harris Township Fire Department. The department serves approximately 22,000 residents and covers 21 square miles.  We answer approximately 1300 calls for service in a calendar year.  We are a combination department staffed with 19 full time and 30 volunteer, part-time and paid on-call Firefighters.

 

The Harris Township Fire Department operates from two stations.  Station # 1 is located on the corner of Anderson and Bittersweet in Granger and Station # 2 is located on State Road 23 and Elm in Granger.

 

Both stations are staffed 24-hours a day, 365 days a year.
